WE HAVE MOVED!

"And I beheld, and heard the voice of one eagle flying through the midst of heaven,
saying with a loud voice: Woe, woe, woe to the inhabitants of the earth....

DEVELOPING: Solar storm could strike Earth this week

DEVELOPING: Solar storm could strike Earth this week

A solar storm — a disturbance in Earth’s magnetic field caused by changes in solar wind — is forecast to hit Earth this week, the Space Weather Prediction Center (SWPC) has warned.  The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) issued a G1 (minor) geomagnetic storm watch for Tuesday and Wednesday. The storm watch was issued “due to the arrival of a negative polarity coronal hole high-speed stream,” SWPC explained in a post online Sunday.
C. Alex Young, associate director for science in the heliophysics science division at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center, wrote in a report published Monday that at least three “substantial” coronal holes — which demonstrate the Sun’s magnetic field is exposed — were observed in the Sun last week.  “These are areas of open magnetic field from which high-speed solar wind rushes out into space,” Young explains. “This wind, if it interacts with [Earth’s] magnetosphere, can cause aurora to appear near the poles.”  READ MORE

DEVELOPING: Massive Solar Storm could cause power outages

DEVELOPING: Massive Solar Storm could cause power outages
Includes the video "cracks in the earth's shield"
A solar storm is Earth-bound and scientists have warned the storm could wipe out power and trigger the Northern Lights in parts of the UK in a wave of geomagnetic activity. An enormous explosion on the surface of the Sun blasted an array of solar particles Earth’s way and the storm will hit tomorrow. Scientists have warned the storm could wipe out satellites, GPS navigation systems and mobile phone signals.

FEMA Is Preparing For A Solar Storm That Would Take Out The Grid

FEMA Is Preparing For A Solar Storm That Would Take Out The Grid
FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Administration) is planning for a massive solar storm that would be so strong, it would take down the power grid. Noting that the rare, yet “high-consequence” scenario has “the potential for catastrophic impact on our nation and FEMA’s ability to respond.”
According to unpublished FEMA documents obtained by Government Attic, a FOIA (Freedom of Information Act) database and non-profit organization, the Department of Homeland Security agency once mapped out a disaster plan for the occurrence of another geomagnetic “super storm” like the one the occurred in 1859.

G1 (Minor) Geomagnetic Storm Warning Valid Jan. 27-28. A G1 (Minor) geomagnetic storm warning is in effect for 27-28 Jan. due to influence from the anticipated, positive-polarity coronal hole high-speed stream. Solar Wind Speed: 617 km/sec. Solar Wind Magnetic Fields: Bt 4 nT, Bz -3 nT
Two Large Holes in the Sun’s Atmosphere. NASA’s Solar Dynamics Observatory is now tracking two large holes in the sun’s atmosphere. One is now directly facing Earth, and the other is still turning toward us.

TECH BLACKOUT: Huge solar storm which could WIPE OUT modern technology expected by 2020

TECH BLACKOUT: Huge solar storm which could WIPE OUT modern technology expected by 2020

Sean Martin

THERE is a one in eight chance that the Earth will be hit by a huge solar storm by 2020 which could potentially leave the world without Internet, phone service and many more services that modern-day humans rely on.

Researchers have warned that there is roughly a 12 per cent chance that a solar storm could smash into Earth by the end of the decade.
The powerful event would likely be as huge as the Carrington Event, which occurred on 1859.
The solar storm which hit 150 years ago was so powerful that its southern auroras could be seen as far north as Queensland in Australia.
Today, in a modern world so dependent on technology, the implications would be far more severe.

Solar storm heading towards Earth...

Solar storm heading towards Earth threatening to break your Sky TV and mobile phones

A HUGE solar storm is heading towards Earth which could leave us without mobile phones, satellite TV and even electricity.

Sean Martin

Modern-day Britain could go into meltdown after scientists forecast the solar storm to hit between now and Friday which could wreak havoc with technology.
Solar storms affect Earth’s technology as radiation is thrown at the planet from the Sun.
While humans are protected from the radiation by the atmosphere, the rays can heat the outer atmosphere, causing it to expand which can affect satellites in orbit. That could lead to a lack of GPS navigation, mobile phone signal and satellite TV such as Sky.
