God Shows Forth His Power and His Mercy
With
all of the justifiable attention being paid to the catastrophic
destruction that has been wrought by Hurricane Irma in the Caribbean,
where it has destroyed ninety percent of the buildings on the island of
Barbuda and wreaked great damage upon the island of Antigua (which was
part of the itinerary of the MS Oslofjord during a Christmas cruise we
took between December 18, 1964, and January 5, 1965), as it makes its
approach to Florida’s Gulf Coast in but a few hours of this article’s
posting, we should be reminded of the fact that it was only two weeks
ago now that the Houston, Texas, metropolitan area was getting pounded
by Tropical Storm Harvey’s relentless rainfall.
