As Democrats continue to slowly come to terms with their stunning defeat on November 8th, one coping mechanism that has helped them to deal with the grief is getting a head start on a list of most likely new saviors who can defeat the evil Donald Trump in 2020 and restore "Hope" to America.  As such, Niall Stanage of The Hill has compiled a list of the 15 most likely challengers.  Most of the list is not terribly surprising and includes a number of establishment politicians which, given how the 2016 election cycle evolved, would almost certainly result in another Trump victory.

Trevor Loudon is a celebrated author, filmmaker and political commentator from New Zealand, who has been researching the radical left for more than 30 years.

• Trevor recently finished his hard-hitting political documentary, the Enemies Within.
• Trevor Loudon discovered the long-hidden relationship between notorious Hawaiian Communist Party member Frank Marshall Davis and the young Barack Obama in 2007.
• After extensively researching Obama’s ties to the New York and Chicago Marxist movements, Loudon began publishing his findings online, catching the eye of such prominent voices as Accuracy in Media and syndicated radio host Glenn Beck.
• In 2009 Loudon exposed the communist roots of Obama “Green Jobs Czar” Van Jones. After an extensive campaign by Glenn Beck and others, Jones was forced to resign from his White House position.

• Loudon has interviewed many people from both sides of the struggle over the years to former Western intelligence offices, to government undercover operatives inside the communist movement, to former KGB officers.

Polls: Most "Catholics" Lean Democrat

  According to Pew Research, Latinos, as do most Catholic voters, have doubts about the Republican candidate’s commitment to pro-life issues and other areas identified by the U.S. bishops as being of paramount concern.

WASHINGTON — Latino Catholics may be strongly leaning toward Hillary Clinton — but immigration is not the only issue that is driving them away from Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump.
Nearly six in 10 registered Latino voters — 58% — are backing Clinton, and 19% are supporting Trump, leaving just 10% for Libertarian Gary Johnson and 6% for Green Party nominee Jill Stein, according to an Oct. 11 Pew Research Center poll. The gap widens among Catholics, with 69% opting for Clinton and just 15% favoring Trump. (The survey included 804 registered voters and was done from Aug. 23 to Sept. 21.)

Italy’s Senate has passed bill recognizing homosexual civil unions, but because of a last-minute deal brokered with Catholic parliamentarians, it will deny such unions the right to adopt. It must still be passed by the House of Deputies.

It’s recently been brought to my attention that a small booklet entitled “Voter’s Guide For Serious Catholics” has been circulating among traditional Catholics.  I have been asked by a number of good people to express my views on this, and will take the opportunity to do so now.

Aside from the point that this booklet does not contain anything explicitly contradicting Church teaching, it is nevertheless filled to overflowing, so to speak, with serious omissions, false claims and misleading statements that can only 1) further confuse traditional Catholics who are already immensely confused, not to mention deeply troubled, over whom they should vote for in the coming elections; 2) further divide them on so many moral  issues that we all should be in full agreement on since the Magisterium has made its position well known (as Saint Ignatius Loyola said, on all things we should be one mind with the Church); and 3) further distance them from Thomistic and Magisterial teaching for good government and for selecting the most Christian candidate available to us; or if we can’t do any better, the one who will do the least damage to the people and nation.
