Preparedness assessment:

Physical
– water is most important in any prepping situation. everything else secondary. health, sanitation, … scenarios …
– skills and resources. Get just a few to offer. Neighbors to get a few each. Discuss scenarios with them. Agree to collaborate in place.
– first aid, plumbing, firewood, cold storage, available water (spring, potable rain water system, manual well pump, …), electricity (solar/battery, diesel or propane), mechanical repair, basic hand tools, manual sewing machines + fabric and thread, animals, working gardens, canning, etc.

Mental: Right disposition and what supplements to get in the event of collapse

Spiritual:
-divine protection of the angels and Mary
– the raw deal of Esau, austerity and effeminacy last time.
– detachment
– mentally and spiritually ready to walk away from any “way of life,” comforts, routine, “things” Our Lord asks from us
– St Alphonsus:
– need detachment in prosperity so we’re ready for it in adversity
– Job: the Lord has given, and the Lord has taken away. Blessed be the Lord!

Recall in times I past I have written articles about how we are going through another Exodus in our attempt to break free from the clutches of Satan and his new world order. This persecution has precedence as you know for in times past the elect of the Old Testament had to flee from Egypt and it’s slave masters. The People of God then had to pack up their bags and pass through the Red Sea in Faith as Moses held out his arms like an eagle so the little flock could pass through.
