WE HAVE MOVED!

"And I beheld, and heard the voice of one eagle flying through the midst of heaven,
saying with a loud voice: Woe, woe, woe to the inhabitants of the earth....

Preparing for the Novus Ordo Missae

Preparing for the Novus Ordo Missae

Anyone who sets out to consider the reforms of Pius XII in their historical detail cannot fail to notice the sequence of events linking them to the Novus Ordo Missae.

In the Instruction De musica sacra (1958), the “community Mass” was, to the delight of the progressivist reformers, given explicit approval by the Pope, down to the finest detail of lay “active participation.” The Instruction laid the foundation for the final creation of the Novus Ordo Missae insofar as it gave the laity an integral role in the enactment of the Mass:

Novus Ordo Mass: All Present Are Considered to Be Celebrants

All Present Are Considered to Be Celebrants

Folded chasubles continued a long liturgical tradition of the Church - credit to New Liturgical Movement
To sum up: the ancient tradition of folded chasubles disappeared officially from the liturgy in Holy Week 1956 (1) and from the rest of the Liturgical Year in 1960.

Before their suppression, folded chasubles had enjoyed a high profile in the liturgy, being worn for a considerable portion of the Liturgical Year:

Now serving table wine and bread....

Now serving table wine and bread....

When I come across a news item online about parish life in Novus Ordo Land, I typically ignore it. I already know the punchline, and the joke is on those poor parishioners who sincerely want to be Catholic but have no idea just how Protestant they’ve become.
Moving on, I always gratefully recall how there but for the grace of God do I remain.

New Mass: No Grace?

New Mass:  No Grace?
The New Mass is the modernist's version of the true Mass.  It is Protestant coming form the hands of heretics (FreeMasons included).  Our Lord and Lady gave a warning to the world through esteemed mystic Marie Julie Jahenny in the early 1900's of its arrival.  It is illicit and schismatic per Council of Trent (can. 7 sess.13)

Q. We started going to our parish church (Novus Ordo, of course) on the Sundays there was no traditional Mass here. My question is this. Is it wrong to go to our parish church when the traditional Mass is only available so infrequently? Is it wrong to receive Communion or any other Sacrament in the Novus Ordo church? Is the bread and wine really transubstantiated into the Body and Blood of Christ at the Novus Ordo Mass? S. P., Kasson, Minn.

Liturgical Dance: The Revolution's Latest Phase

Liturgical Dance: The Revolution's Latest Phase

Kathy Willett Redle, M.F.A.

There are some who feel insulated from the liturgical conciliar Church Revolution.1 They may say "Not at my parish! We have an Indult Latin Mass parish or a reverent Novus Ordo parish which has avoided liturgical dance, Eucharistic ministers, communion in the hand, and altar girls (this is a rarity). Is anyone really safe when the Church is in the throes of liturgical, doctrinal, and moral revolutions?

Since the new Mass isn't Catholic, does that mean if I go to confession  there it doesn't really count as a real confession?
Regards, Dominic

TCK: I will let Father Hesse explain: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gXJub1bdngc

Peace be with you, Eric. Are the Luminous mysteries good to pray? God Bless you and keep you safe from all wrong and harm.  ~Judy M.

TCK: Avoid the Luminous mysteries and substitute with the Sorrowful

Dear Eric,
I am a Catholic in TN. I was away from the church for many years and returned. I vaguely remember the Latin mass of my youth. Since returning, I have been more involved in the church. I am secretary of the Pastoral Council and a lector. I have been reading your blog for several months, and now I am confused on whether or not to attend this Novus Ordo Mass. I could use some guidance on this issue if you have time to respond. Thank you for your time.  ~Mary J.

TCK: I have personally sent you the details of an acceptable church to attend near you. Also I look forward to our phone conversation we will have within the next few days, thank you

Eric, What do you think of going to the SSPV to Mass?
Thank You, Lawrence Schmidt

TCK: As you know I oppose Sedevacantism. I would personally not attend SSPV/CMRI or any such Church adopting that opinion.
