WE HAVE MOVED!

"And I beheld, and heard the voice of one eagle flying through the midst of heaven,
saying with a loud voice: Woe, woe, woe to the inhabitants of the earth....

"Catholic" Mass attendance in U.S. plunges under Francis "pontificate"

"Catholic" Mass attendance in U.S. plunges under Francis "pontificate"
IN A SENSE THIS IS A GOOD THING IF WE ARE SPEAKING ABOUT THE ILLICIT/SCHISMATIC NEW MASS.  PEOPLE OUGHT BE FLEEING VATICAN 2 CHURCHES AND PREPARING THEMSELVES TO GO "UNDERGROUND"

The Catholic Church is seeing its biggest decline in Mass attendance in the U.S. in decades that started between the papacies of Pope Benedict XVI and Pope Francis, a new Gallup poll says.
"From 2014 to 2017, an average of 39% of Catholics reported attending church in the past seven days. This is down from an average of 45% from 2005 to 2008 and represents a steep decline from 75% in 1955," the poll found.

Silence in the Mass

Silence in the Mass
Moved by Judith Martin's reflection, "Silence that Speaks to the Soul" (Dec. 2016), the editor of The Eye-Witness blog warns that even some traditional congregations have adopted the Novus Ordo's "participation"-as-noise mentality forgetting the purpose, value, and meditative balm of ...Silence

The golden silence, the filled silence, of the Low Mass in the ancient Rite of the Latin Church is the silence that infuses the soul with thoughts of higher things, and also with the thought that we are one moment closer to that final meeting with Him who gave us life. This silence is a precious thing. It is nourishment to mind and soul; it directs us to meditate on the mysteries before us.  It is needed. It is a holy thing. Only half in jest did one famous Catholic state that the only thing more beautiful than a well-sung High Mass is the quiet silence of the Low Mass.

A Cabal Destroyed the Mass of the Pre-Sanctified

A Cabal Destroyed the Mass of the Pre-Sanctified

Dr. Carol Byrne, Great Britain
If, as Orwell wrote in Politics and the English Language, obfuscatory language is designed “to make lies sound truthful and murder respectable,” the euphemisms used by the liturgical reformers to kill the Mass of the Pre-Sanctified reveal their unethical methods.

Antonelli – a progressivist perito at Vatican Council II – favored changes to the Mass
Pius XII’s Liturgy Commission turned out to be a particularly fertile ground for euphemisms, in other words, verbal sleights-of-hand to cloak the reforms in opaque language so as to make the consequences sound less devastating.

Is a Change in the Mass Coming?

Is a Change in the Mass Coming?
Marian T. Horvat, Ph.D.
My friend Jan asked me if it was true that Francis had ordered a review of Liturgiam Authenticam (LA) of 2001, the "Fifth instruction for the right implementation of the Constitution of the Sacred Liturgy of the Second Vatican Council." After a major re-translation of all the vernacular liturgical books by a Vatican Commission selected by Benedict XVI, it resulted in a supposedly "more conservative" version of the Novus Ordo Mass.

Changing the Meaning of Our Lord’s Mandatum

Changing the Meaning of Our Lord’s Mandatum

Dr. Carol Byrne, Great Britain

Most Catholics who have attended a Holy Thursday foot washing service would, if asked, be inclined to explain its significance in a manner not dissimilar to Protestants – that is, as a symbol of the charity and humble service that all Christ’s followers must practice towards one another. That is what the Mandatum has now been reduced to – an exhortation to mutual aid: you wash my feet, I’ll wash yours, metaphorically speaking.

Can One Pray the Rosary during Mass?

Can One Pray the Rosary during Mass?
Phillip Mericle

There are many Catholics who believe that praying the Rosary during Mass constitutes a distraction from the Sacred Liturgy. The post Vatican II Church recommends active participation during the Mass so emphatically that anything that encourages individual recollection and impairs communitarian activity is strongly discouraged.

Saint Quote of the Day- Sins at Mass

'Now answer me candidly, when you are going to the church to hear Mass, do you bear in mind that you are going to Calvary to be present at the Redeemer's death? If this thought was deep in your soul, would you venture into the holy place with unbecoming gait, or in apparel that is immodest? Had Magdalene come to the foot of the cross on Calvary, bedizened, perfumed, and with a display of finery such as she wore in the time of her sinfulness, what would have been said of her? Now what are we to say of you who go to the holy place dressed out as for some merry-making? What should be said of you if you were to profane that most august sacrifice by unbeseeming conduct, such as nods, salutations, laughter, whisperings, or worse than all, lascivious and sacrilegious glancings? Iniquity is abominable on all occasions and in all places, but the sins that are committed during Mass, and under the shadow of the altar, are sins which call down God's signal maledictions, "Cursed be he who doeth the work of the Lord deceitfully." (Jer. xlviii. 10.)'

Hear Mass...

Hear Mass...

Let us hear Mass as much as possible this Advent!  What a source of great graces, the greatest in the world, coming from the Supreme and Eternal Sacrifice of Jesus Christ, Our Lord.

WHY AVOID THE NOVUS ORDO?

WHY AVOID THE NOVUS ORDO?
Remember its the doctrines first before the question of the Mass
Vatican II does not all teach the Catholic Faith overall

Because six Protestant ministers collaborated in making up the New Mass: George, Jasper, Shepherd, Kunneth, Smith and Thurian:

We can see why he made this statement he did! He knew at first-hand!

The New Mass or Novus Ordo was examined in detail by a group of Catholic theologians in Rome in 1969. On their behalf Cardinal Ottaviani wrote to Pope Paul VI condemning it on 27 counts as being simply not a Catholic Mass: "It teems with insinuations or manifest errors against the integrity of the Catholic religion. It has no intention of presenting the Faith as taught by the Council of Trent, to which nonetheless the Catholic conscience is bound forever. It will thoroughly please all those groups on the verge of apostasy, who have been at work ravaging the Church, corrupting its organism, and assaulting its doctrinal, liturgical, moral and disciplinary unity, in a period of spiritual crisis that is without precedent."

Progressivist ‘Simplification’ of the Mass Inspired by Luther

Progressivist ‘Simplification’ of the Mass
Inspired by Luther

Progressivist Card. Avery Dulles takes Luther's position & labels Catholic teaching 'legends'

When we study the history of the Liturgical Movement, which was heavily influenced by Fr. Josef Jungmann, we must marvel at the ease with which the 20th century progressivists were made to believe almost anything that reflected badly on the medieval Church. His fellow-Jesuit, Fr. (soon to be Cardinal) Avery Dulles neatly encapsulated in a few words the core of Jungmann’s circumlocutory treatment of medieval Catholics:

Liturgical Inversion: People First, God Second

Liturgical Inversion: People First, God Second

Dr. Carol Byrne

Turning again to the venerable formula lex orandi, lex credendi, we can see that the liturgy reveals what we truly believe and how we view ourselves in relation to God. It is evident that every part of the traditional Mass – each of its rituals, gestures and prayers – has a transcendent dimension reflecting the supreme honor due to God. But there is an inversion at the heart of the Liturgical Movement that reflects the exaltation of man and has led to the almost total neglect of reverence and a sense of the sacred in the liturgy.

A Patriot's Last Roman Catholic Mass

A Patriot's Last Roman Catholic Mass
by Richard "Dick" A. Stratton

In 1962 Pope John XXIII convened Vatican II, convocation of the leadership of the Catholic Church, to address issues of importance to the Church. In that year I was a warrior attached to Attack Squadron Ninety Four, Air Group Nine, USS Ranger (VA-94; CAG 9; CVA-61) and had limited interest as to what an Italian Pope was doing for the good of his people. I was a warrior, a Naval Aviator, a husband, a father and a son. I had my own fish to fry.
