WE HAVE MOVED!

"And I beheld, and heard the voice of one eagle flying through the midst of heaven,
saying with a loud voice: Woe, woe, woe to the inhabitants of the earth....

Mary’s Month

Mary’s Month

May is Mary’s Month, and as such, especially dear to her children.
“And Mary said: My soul doth magnify the Lord. And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour. Because He hath regarded the lowliness of His handmaid; for behold from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed. For He that is mighty hath done great things to me; and holy is His name. And His mercy is from generation to generations unto them that fear Him. He hath shewed strength in His arm: He hath scattered the proud in the conceit of their heart. He hath put down the mighty from their seat, and hath exalted the humble. He hath filled the hungry with good things; and the rich He hath sent empty away. He hath helped Israel His servant, being mindful of His mercy: As He spoke unto our fathers, to Abraham and his seed for ever.” [Luke 1, 46-55]

We begin the month of Mary with a brief meditation on the Magnificat, her hymn of praise to God. For those who do not recite the Little Office of the Blessed Virgin Mary, it is a good practice to add the Magnificat to their devotions during Our Lady’s month of May.

Saint quote of the Day- Sufferings of Mary

'Mary suffered hers in her soul, as Saint Simeon foretold: "And my own soul a sword shall pierce." As if the holy old man had said: "O most sacred Virgin, the bodies of other martyrs will be torn with iron, but thou wilt be transfixed, and martyred in thy soul by the Passion of thine own Son." Now, as the soul is more noble than the body, so much greater were Mary's sufferings than those of all the martyrs, as Jesus Christ Himself said to Saint Catherine of Siena: "Between the sufferings of the soul and those of the body there is no comparisons." Whence the holy Abbot Arnold of Chartres says, "that whoever had been present on Mount Calvary, to witness the great sacrifice of the Immaculate Lamb, would there have beheld two great altars, the one in the body of Jesus, the other in the heart of Mary; for, on that mount, at the same time that the Son sacrificed His body by death, Mary sacrificed her soul by compassion."'
St. Alphonsus Maria de Liguori

Video of the Day- Mary, Blessed Art Thou Among Women

Video of the Day- Mary, Blessed Art Thou Among Women
The Church Fathers thought of Genesis 3:15 as a miniature Gospel. The Fathers taught that Jesus was the seed of the woman in Genesis 3:15 as He is the only human born without a human father. Christ is the new Adam and The Blessed Virgin is the new Eve. There are multiple references to this prophecy in the Old Testament. Saint Elizabeth was the first person to prophecy this in the New Testament at the Visitation, to which Mary responded: "henceforth all generations shall call me blessed" (Luke 1:48).

Mary’s Promise, 2017

Mary’s Promise, 2017
Note: Not an endorsement.  You can use other approved Church sources in addition to Fatima. (LaSalette, Heede,, etc)

“Do not lose heart, I will never forsake you! My Immaculate Heart will be your refuge and the way that will lead you to God.” (Our Lady of Fatima, June 13, 1917)

I awoke this morning to see the sky that achingly beautiful blue that fills my soul with longing for heaven. Rosary in hand I thought of St. Teresa’s Hail Mary. She appeared to one of her devoted sisters of Carmel to tell her that if she could, she would return to earth  to say just one Hail Mary, so effective is that prayer. And so throughout the day, I pray “St. Teresa’s Hail Mary” for her.
Just think a moment — St. Teresa of Avila, that great doctor of the Church, came back to say, … what?

Francis Will Not Declare Mary as CoRedemptrix

Francis Will Not Declare Mary as CoRedemptrix
Francis has no jurisdiction to do so.  This Dogma will formalized at a Council on the other side of the Tribulation wherein Vatican II will be made null and void.

Earlier this month, the International Marian Association submitted a request to Pope Francis, asking for the public recognition of the title of Mary as “Co-Redemptrix with Jesus the Redeemer.” The 10 page document was submitted by the Theological Commission of the International Marian Association, a group of more than 100 theologians, bishops, priests, religious, and lay leaders from over 20 countries dedicated to the “full truth and love of Mary, Mother of Jesus.”

Life Under the Banner of Love

Life Under the Banner of Love

SOURCE

“In the Holy Ghost’s union with (Mary), not only does Love join these two beings, but the first of the two (the Holy Ghost) is the entire Love of the Holy Trinity, while the second (Mary) is the entire love of creation; and thus in this union of heaven with all of earth, all uncreated love with created love; it is the summit of love.”

Total Consecration to the Immaculata

By original sin, each of us is separated from God and it is our life’s work to strive to return to God. The first step toward reunion with God, that is, the first rung on the ladder to God, is to make a firm decision of the will toward Mary. This setting out on the way to God is total consecration to Mary. We give ourselves completely to Mary as our Mother and our Queen, as our way to the final destination which is our Lord Jesus Christ. Devotion to Mary is an essential component to the imitation of Christ.

Basis for Devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary

Basis for Devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary

SOURCE

Through the centuries, popes, saints and good and holy theologians have taught the importance of devotion and prayers addressed to the Blessed Virgin Mary. It is necessary that we pray to the Blessed Virgin Mary as the saints have taught.
The Holy Catholic Church, the pillar and ground of the Truth, inspired and directed by the Holy Ghost down through the centuries has consistently taught this doctrine and this practice. The Blessed Virgin Mary is: “Our Life, Our Sweetness and Our Hope” as the Salve Regina — the Hail Holy Queen prayer of 1000-years expresses so well. These titles and realities are defended against Protestant and Modernist attacks by St. Alphonsus Liguori in his book, The Glories of Mary.

Saint Quote of the Day- Mary, Star of the Sea

'And the Virgin's name was Mary. Let us speak a few words upon this name, which signifieth Star of the Sea, and suiteth very well the Maiden-Mother, who may meetly be likened unto a star. A star giveth forth her rays without any harm to herself; and the Virgin brought forth her Son without any hurt to her virginity. . . O thou, whosoever thou art, that knowest thyself to be here not so much walking upon firm ground as battered to and fro by the gales and storms of this life's ocean, if thou wouldest not be overwhelmed by the tempest, keep thine eyes fixed upon this Star's clear shining. . . In danger, in difficulty, or in doubt, think on Mary, call on Mary. . . If thou follow her, thou wilt never go astray. If thou pray to her, thou wilt never have need to despair. If thou keep her in mind, thou wilt never wander. If she hold thee, thou wilt never fall. If she lead thee, thou wilt never be weary. If she help thee, thou wilt reach home safe at the last: and so, thou wilt prove in thyself how meetly it is said, And the Virgin's name was Mary.'
St. Bernard of Clairvaux

Fr. Campbell- Why Our Lady Loves Processions

Why Our Lady Loves Processions

Early traditional stories about the Blessed Virgin Mary tell us that Our Lady was presented in the Temple at the age of three, where she served for about twelve years before returning to her parents. There she lived in the special lodgings for those dedicated to the divine service, those who attended the priests and levites in their sacred ministry (3Kgs 6:5-9).

12 Reasons To Run To Our Mother

12 Reasons To Run To Our Mother
By: Eric Gajewski
On the Consideration of the Qualities & Benefits of having a strong devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary

As many of you know the Blessed Virgin Mary was instrumental to my general conversion of heart which ultimately directed me back toward Catholic truth.  She has helped me to see clearly through this Vatican II deception.  She has helped me to overcome the many vices which so trapped my heart in the “prison cell of self”.  Not a day goes by without wearing the scapular and Rosary.  Yet there are still so many souls who have no intention of ever giving Our Queen a chance to show them just how powerful her intercession is.  The Blessed Virgin Mary, now, more than ever, is pivotal, to a healthy and intimate interior life with Our King. Thru Mary to Jesus.  Every eagle must stay close to this Immaculate Heart of Mary.  Therefore, let us consider some of the reasons (12 altogether) souls ought be running to Our Mother for the sake of their own heart’s conversion and for the safety of their own soul.

Fr. Campbell, “Hold fast the testimony of Jesus” (Apoc.12:17)"

Fr. Campbell, “Hold fast the testimony of Jesus” (Apoc.12:17)

Our Lord Jesus Christ was sent into this world by God, the Father, to prepare the way to Heaven for us. As we see in the Gospel for the Third Sunday of Lent, He had competition. Our Lord was in a constant struggle with His adversary, the devil, and with the devil’s seed, the unbelieving Pharisees and those who plotted His death upon the Cross. This struggle was already foretold in the Book of Genesis, the very first book of the Bible. Jesus was the Redeemer promised Adam and Eve after their fall from grace and their expulsion from Paradise. At that time God said to the serpent (the devil):

First Saturday Devotion

First Saturday Devotion

Respice Stellam

How Do I Start the First Saturdays?

On 13 July 1917, Our Lady appeared for the third time to the three children of Fatima and showed them the vision of hell and made the now famous thirteen prophecies. In this vision Our Lady said that “God wishes to establish in the world devotion to Her Immaculate Heart and that She would come to ask for the Communion of Reparation on the First Saturdays.”

Endtime Prophecy Quote For the Day- Peace Shall Return!

Sr. Marie Lataste

Sr. Marie Lataste gave a prophecy in the 1840’s about a period of devastation in France and the rest of the world, to be followed by this:
“Peace shall return to the world, because the Blessed Virgin Mary will breathe over the storms and quell them. Her name will be praised, blessed and exalted forever. Prisoners or captives shall recover their liberty; exiles shall return to their country, and the unfortunate or unhappy shall be restored to peace and happiness…”
Please help me in this effort to make the whole world Marian!

Two Pillars of the Interior Life: Silence & Solitude

Two Pillars of the Interior Life: Silence & Solitude
By: Eric Gajewski
Amos 5:13
Therefore the prudent shall keep silence at that time,
for it is an evil time.
An Eagle is found between these two pillars:
Emblem of Holy Roman Emperor Charles V

Nay, indeed, it is an evil time. A time in which men do not utilize the time they are given daily to move closer to the Sacred Heart of Christ.  It is time generally spent self-seeking rather than trying to meet the expectations that Holy Religion has placed before us.  When society becomes more and more perverted rather than “slow down” modern man keeps his “foot on the petal” and tries to “speed up”. Therefore, in a world with men moving rapidly “to and fro”, let us call to mind, how necessary, it is, to break from the world in order to advance interiorly.
