"And I beheld, and heard the voice of one eagle flying through the midst of heaven,
saying with a loud voice: Woe, woe, woe to the inhabitants of the earth....

Devil’s Punchbowl — An American Concentration Camp So Horrific It was Erased from History

Devil’s Punchbowl — An American Concentration Camp So Horrific It was Erased from History
Say the words concentration camps, and most will surmise the topic surrounds World War II and the Nazis; but the hard labor, constant threat of death, and barbarism these microcosmic hells presented weren’t unique to Adolf Hitler — in just one year, around 20,000 freed slaves perished in the Devil’s Punchbowl — in Natchez, Mississippi, U.S.A.
After the Civil War, a massive exodus of former slaves from Southern plantations trekked northward in hopes of reaching a location of true freedom; but embittered soldiers, resentful the people considered property were now free, had other plans.

Indespensible "Hand-Maidens" of the Battlefield

Indespensible "Hand-Maidens" of the Battlefield

SOURCE

Everyone vaguely familiar with the Middle Ages has heard of them, but very few people appreciate how essential "squires" were to medieval warfare. Squires were, in fact, quite simply indispensable because, in the military context, the term “knight” did not refer to a single individual but to a fighting unit composed of a knight and at least one destrier (warhorse), palfrey (riding horse), packhorse and squire. Wealthier knights could afford two or more of each (or all) of these supporting elements. Yet while most people understand that a knight was without a horse lost his utility on the battlefield, the importance of squires is often overlooked. Today I’d like to redress that.

The Livonian Brethren of the Sword

The Livonian Brethren of the Sword
Outside of Europe in particular, it is often not realized the extent to which the crusades and the military religious orders that fought in them were largely national affairs. This may be partly because many people ignore the crusades that were not aimed at retaking the Holy Land as those were probably the most ‘inter-national’ of the crusades, yet, still more than I think most people realize, largely French. The Knights Templar, which is most famous for fighting in the crusades in the Holy Land, had a multinational membership but were, likewise, predominately French.

5 Reasons Why You’re Living in the Strangest Time in Human History

5 Reasons Why You’re Living in the Strangest Time in Human History

The world is changing faster than ever before, but that doesn’t mean that we aren’t being acclimated to it. It’s truly a testament to the ability of humans to adapt to just about any circumstance. We have more food, wealth, and life-saving technologies than anyone in our history. We have a nearly unlimited stream of entertainment and information. Yet we take it all for granted.

Constantine the Great

Constantine the Great
His coins give his name as M., or more frequently as C., Flavius Valerius Constantinus. He was born at Naissus, now Nisch in Servia [Nis, Serbia —Ed.], the son of a Roman officer, Constantius, who later became Roman Emperor, and St. Helena, a woman of humble extraction but remarkable character and unusual ability. The date of his birth is not certain, being given as early as 274 and as late as 288. After his father’s elevation to the dignity of Caesar we find him at the court of Diocletian and later (305) fighting under Galerius on the Danube. When, on the resignation of his father Constantius was made Augustus, the new Emperor of the West asked Galerius, the Eastern Emperor, to let Constantine, whom he had not seen for a long time, return to his father’s court. This was reluctantly granted. Constantine joined his father, under whom he had just time to distinguish himself in Britain before death carried off Constantius (25 July, 306). Constantine was immediately proclaimed Caesar by his troops, and his title was acknowledged by Galerius somewhat hesitatingly.

Mary Ward and the Institute of Mary

Mary Ward and the Institute of Mary
Foundress, born 23 January, 1585; died 23 January, 1645; eldest daughter of Marmaduke Ward and Ursula Wright, and connected by blood with most of the great Catholic families of Yorkshire. She entered a convent of Poor Clares at St.-Omer as lay sister in 1606. The following year she founded a house for Englishwomen at Gravelines, but not finding herself called to the contemplative life, she resolved to devote herself to active work. At the age of twenty-four she found herself surrounded by a band of devoted companions determined to labour under her guidance. In 1609 they established themselves as a religious community at St.-Omer, and opened schools for rich and poor. The venture was a success, but it was a novelty, and it called forth censure and opposition as well as praise.

The Secret Jewish History of Kwanzaa

The Secret Jewish History of Kwanzaa

Fifty years ago, at the inaugural celebration of Kwanzaa, 60 black Americans gathered in a California living room to celebrate their distant African past.

It was 1966. They wore dashikis and hand-woven headwear. A troupe of musicians played drums. Men and women bowed to each other and poured libations to the ancestors. Later, someone switched on the stereo and turned up the music of James Brown and Curtis Mayfield as the crowd danced.

Pope Callistus II: Elected Pope to Fight the Emperor

Pope Callistus II: Elected Pope to Fight the Emperor

Date of birth unknown; died 13 December, 1124. His reign, beginning 1 February, 1119, is signalized by the termination of the Investiture controversy which, begun in the time of Gregory VII, had raged with almost unabated bitterness during the last quarter of the eleventh century and the opening years of the twelfth. Guido, as he was called before his elevation to the papacy, was the son of Count William of Burgundy, and both by his father’s and mother’s side was closely connected with nearly all the royal houses of Europe.

Pope St. Gregory III- To protest the emperor, he paid special honor images and relics

Pope St. Gregory III- To protest the emperor, he paid special honor images and relics
Pope St. Gregory III was the son of a Syrian named John. The date of his birth is not known. His reputation for learning and virtue was so great that the Romans elected him pope by acclamation, when he was accompanying the funeral procession of his predecessor, 11 February, 731. As he was not consecrated for more than a month after his election, it is presumed that he waited for the confirmation of his election by the exarch at Ravenna.

THE HISTORY OF THE PROTESTANT AND JUDEO-MASONIC ASSAULT AGAINST CHRISTMAS!

THE HISTORY OF THE PROTESTANT AND JUDEO-MASONIC ASSAULT AGAINST CHRISTMAS!

The Protestant and Judeo-Masonic assault upon Christmas continues on to this very day. After Martin Luther changed the understanding of November and holy days in general; World War II changed the understanding of Advent and Christmas. As war swept the world, buying habits had to change. Because it took six weeks to transport anything by ship over the ocean, Americans were told to buy their Christmas gifts for their sons overseas by Thanksgiving, or their sons would not receive those gifts by February 2.

Modern Revolutionary Historians on Constantine Discredited

Modern Revolutionary Historians
on Constantine Discredited

Phillip Mericle
Book review of Defending Constantine, by Peter Leithart, Downers Grover, IL: InterVarsity Press, 2010, 372 pp.
To many historians Constantine, the first Roman Emperor to convert to the Catholic Church, is vilified as the man who wedded state power to religious authority. The famed historian John H. Yoder coined the term “Constantinian shift,” according to which the newly Catholic Emperor, depicted as a hypocrite and powerful politician, integrated his government with the Church in order to bring the energy of Christianity under his sway.

Isabella, Princess of Jerusalem

Isabella, Princess of Jerusalem

Dr. Helena Schrader

Although she reigned as queen in her own right for twelve years, Isabella of Jerusalem is most often portrayed in history books and literature as a pawn. She was married four times, divorced once, and widowed thrice. She was the mother of six daughters and a single son, who died just weeks before Isabella herself. She had been besieged by Saladin on her first wedding night, was the object of a coup attempt, and endured the hardships of a siege camp during the Frankish siege of Acre 1189-1191. One husband spent more than year in Saracen captivity, another died in her arms after being struck down by assassins, and her third husband died at the age of 33 in a bizarre accident. Isabella died, possibly from the complications of her son’s birth, at the age of 32.

HOW ZIONISTS TRICKED USA INTO WORLD WAR I

HOW ZIONISTS TRICKED USA INTO WORLD WAR I

THE SETTING
Hoping to draw the United States into the "Great War" (World War I), British Lord of the Admiralty Winston Churchill had, in May, 1915, engineered the sinking of The Lusitania. As the munitions-laden liner approached British waters, the British Mad Dog called off the ship's escorts so that a German U-boat could torpedo the sitting duck. About 1,200 passengers and crew were killed, including about 100 Americans. Needless to say, the doomed passengers knew nothing of the dangerously explosive contraband that was being secretly transported from New York to London.
