This has been an issue I have not been eager to expound upon but do so because so many have challenged my (very obvious and correct of course) remarks on the subject and it would be easier to simply have an article to refer them too with all of the proper Biblical citations. This has been coming up for quite a while, the issue that it is somehow a Christian duty to be in favor of open borders and allowing all and sundry into your country. This is not true.

Former Liberal Democrat leader Tim Farron, who resigned in July this year after a row over whether gay sex was sinful, is to say Christians are deemed "dangerous and offensive" by the public in a speech to a think tank.
On Tuesday, Mr Farron is due to tell an audience at Theos that active Christianity is disliked by the public.
He will say: "If you actively hold a faith that is more than an expression of cultural identity … you are deemed to be far worse than eccentric. You are dangerous. You are offensive."

Over the past two decades, it has slowly dawned on Christians that the implications of same-sex “marriage” are far greater for those who still believe in the traditional understanding of marriage than even the cynics first thought possible. The politicians, the academics, and the media have reached the collective conclusion that if gay “marriage” is a civil right, those who oppose it are not simply dissenters holding to a two-thousand-year-old tradition, but ugly bigots who deserve to be marginalized for their discriminatory views. Thus, “live and let live” turned into “you will be forced to participate and approve,” with bakers, florists, property owners, and adoption agencies finding themselves to be the targets of gay activists who show a shocking ruthlessness in their enthusiasm for prosecuting supposed thought crimes.

For every one new convert, 26 Christians abandon the Faith in the United Kingdom, christianpost.com reports. The nonreligious population (48,6%) in the UK, predominantly young, white and male, is now bigger than its combined Christian one (43%).

On the other side, the non-Christian religious population, mainly Moslems and Hindus, more than quadrupled since 1983 rising to 8.4%. Since 2001, more than 500 churches in London of all denominations have been closed down, while the number of Muslims has grown by almost a million. 100 Islamic sharia courts are operating in London.

A prominent humanist group is demanding that a public school teacher in Texas remove her Christian-themed displays from the classroom out of its assertion that their presence violates the U.S. Constitution.

A "scholar" from Northwestern University argued recently that Christian Fundamentalism poses a greater threat to the United States than Islamic terrorism.

Catherine M. Wallace, who is a faculty member at Northwestern’s School of Medicine and a Christian herself, argues that fundamentalist access to United States armaments is the number one threat to the nation’s security.
Wallace argues that because radical Christians are in positions of power and control the nuclear codes, they pose a greater danger to American society than do Islamic terrorists.

This is a preliminary “catalogue” of texts in early Judaism and Christianity (mainly noncanonical) where the dimensions of gigantic angels, demons, or simply monstrous beings are given. This is a work in progress, to which I’ll be adding more material over the next little while. Currently it only contains entries where concrete measurements are given (usually in cubits). It’s also arranged somewhat chronologically, based on the best dating of these texts—although there are some uncertainties (for example, I didn’t quite know where to put the Book of the Watchers, in light of the uncertain textual history of the passage).

Last month I noted that the crusader states (collectively known as Outremer) had benefited from the hygienic traditions of the civilizations that had preceded them in the Levant, namely the Greeks, Romans, Byzantines, Arabs and Turks.  Another area in which the crusader states benefited from being at the cross-roads of civilizations was with respect to medical care. This was not as simple as having access to Arab medical knowledge, since both Western and Arab medicine of this period was based on false premises. Rather, it was the exposure to medical practices from the Eastern Roman Empire, India, Persia, Arabia, Egypt and the West that gave medicine in the Levant a degree of sophistication and flexibility unknown elsewhere at this time. Before looking at medical practices, however, I want to first consider one of the greatest innovations of Outremer: the hospital.

The basic foundational tenets of the Christian religion are about to become “illegal” in Massachusetts.
This is certainly not a surprise as the elites who walk the halls of power have long been working to eliminate the notion of the one Supreme Being God from the public consciousness and replace Him with their one god – the state. In fact, I wrote before the Supreme Court issued its ruling Obergefell v. Hodges  that if the court created a “right” to “gay marriage” that it would be end of religious liberty in America.
