WE HAVE MOVED!

"And I beheld, and heard the voice of one eagle flying through the midst of heaven,
saying with a loud voice: Woe, woe, woe to the inhabitants of the earth....

Cardinal Burke contradicts Council, Benedict!

Cardinal Burke contradicts Council, Benedict!

At the Rome Life Forum last weekend, Cardinal Raymond Burke urged Catholics to submit to the reign of Christ the King.
At present, unfortunately, the full text of the address appears unavailable, however, excerpts have been provided in several articles posted at LifeSite News.

Cardinal Burke: Catholics must let Christ reign as King in face of ‘apostasy’ within Church

Cardinal Burke: Catholics must let Christ reign as King in face of ‘apostasy’ within Church
DOES THIS NOW MEAN BURKE REJECTS VATICAN 2'S HERESY OF RELIGIOUS LIBERTY? AFTER ALL VATICAN 2 IS APOSTASY....

Catholics must consciously place themselves under the “Kingship of Christ” in the face of enemies of the Church today attempting to “infiltrate the life of the Church herself and to corrupt the Bride of Christ by an apostasy from the Apostolic Faith,” Cardinal Raymond Burke indicated at a talk today in Rome.

Cardinal Burke: Francis Risks A Schism

Cardinal Burke: Francis Risks A Schism
Even the False traditionalist's clinging to Vatican II see an impending formal schism.  Pray for Cardinal Burke's conversion out of the Novus ordo.

Francis cannot permit that a bishops' conference or an individual bishop does anything contrary to the doctrine and practice of the faith, Cardinal Raymond Burke said in a gloria.tv interview hosted by the Austrian philosopher Thomas Stark.
Burke called the proposal that German Protestants should be "allowed" to receive Holy Communion "absurd."
He hopes that Francis will correct this, "Otherwise, the Roman Catholic Church ends up in a situation like the ever multiplying Protestant denominations."
Further, Burke commented on Francis' recent denying the existence of hell and the immortality of the human soul noticing that there has not been a proper correction on the part of the Holy See.
According to Burke, it would have been necessary to say that Francis "reaffirms what the Church has always taught about the last things."
According to Burke the current situation in the Church runs the risk "of a schism".

Cardinal Burke, the Remnant: Each part of the problem

Cardinal Burke, the Remnant: Each part of the problem

Cardinal Raymond Burke is back in the headlines, and is likely to remain there for at least the next few weeks thanks to his recent interview with the Italian daily La Nuova Bussola, his appearance at this weekend’s conference in Rome, and an upcoming appearance scheduled to take place on April 21 in Philadelphia.
Over at the Remnant, Christopher Ferrara commented on the Nuova Bussola interview; recapping what he considers the most noteworthy – no, make that praiseworthy – “highlights.”

Cardinal Burke: “Faithful Must Reject a Heretical Pope”

Cardinal Burke: “Faithful Must Reject a Heretical Pope”

A pope who fails to act in conformity with Divine Revelation, Sacred Scripture and Tradition “must be rejected by the faithful” according to Cardinal Raymond Burke talking at the Roman conference Catholic Church, where are you going? (April 7).
It is to be supposed that the term "faithful" includes for Burke also cardinals and bishops.
According to the Catholic Register, Burke stressed that a pope’s authority is “not magical” but derives from his obedience to Christ.
Burke does not dispute that a pope can dispense with the law or interpret it, "but only for the purpose of serving its proper purpose and never to subvert it.”

Francis Increases Confusion, “Beyond Tolerable” – Cardinal Burke

Francis Increases Confusion, “Beyond Tolerable” – Cardinal Burke
When is Burke going to correct his Vatican II heresies?  It is the blind leading the blind...Francis is just like Vatican II ambiguous and heretical but the conservatives are too.

Cardinal Raymond Burke, 69, has stated that "Pope" Francis not only refuses to clarify problems with regard to marriage, the sacraments and intrinsically evil acts “but also increases the confusion”.

Talking to lanuovabq.it (April 5), Burke called Francis’ recent interview with Eugenio Scalfari, 93, “beyond the tolerable”.

Cowardinal Burke

Cowardinal Burke

Cowardinal Burke has given another yadda yadda interview – he does this once every couple of weeks now – and has, very pointedly, shut up about what he intends to do considering that Francis has not answered the Dubia.
It appears to me that the answer to this is “nothing”, and that the Cowardinal will only give interviews to people who agree to not ask him when the heck he is going to whistle after wetting his lips for many months. The latest interview – no link, because a waste of time, and the Cowardinal does not deserve the time of day – is notable mostly for this: that the interviewer does not even pose the question.

Cardinal Burke Is “Very Content to Be Called a Traditionalist”

Cardinal Raymond Burke has said that “I am very content to be recognized as a traditionalist because our faith reaches us through Tradition".

Cardinal Burke Criticises Benedict XVI’s "Resignation"

Cardinal Burke Criticizes Benedict XVI’s "Resignation"
POPE BENEDICT DIDNT RESIGN BUT RATHER RENUNCIATED THE ACTIVE PORTION OF THE PETRINE OFFICE. FURTHERMORE, HE WAS FORCED OUT PER CANON LAW ON BOTH ACCOUNTS THIS KEEPS HIM AS THE TRUE POPE OF THE CHURCH
“It was not a good thing for the Church to lose its universal shepherd”, Cardinal Raymond Burke has commented on the resignation of Benedict XVI, “There is a certain feeling among many Catholics that their father abandoned them.”
Talking to the Macau newspaper O Clarim (December 15) Burke expressed his hopes that papal resignations will not become a common practice.
The cardinal concedes that at the time of his resignation Pope Benedict had reached a certain age, “but certainly he was in full possession of his faculties.”
He is not convinced by the argument that Benedict was no longer able to travel or bear many audiences, “Who says that the pope has to travel or that he has to receive so many people? I think it is necessary to re-examine the substance of the Petrine office.”

Burke Blunders: Benedict XVI Did Not Want To Be Pope? And Left Governing the Church "to Others"

Burke Blunders: Benedict XVI Did Not Want To Be Pope? And Left Governing the Church "to Others"

Joseph Ratzinger was a great teacher of the faith but "he did not want to be pope", Cardinal Raymond Burke told O Clarim on December 21.

According to Burke governing the Church, "which isn’t easy for anyone", posed a tremendous challenge for Benedict XVI,

"So, he left it to others to attend to these things and there are some who did not serve him well.”

Rafał_Ovile writes:  OOPS, someone is not conforming his thoughts to reality. [...but he did not want to be pope...] "The "always" is also a "for ever" – there can no longer be a return to the private sphere. My decision to resign the active exercise of the ministry does not revoke this. I do not return to private life, to a life of travel, meetings, receptions, conferences, and so on. I am not abandoning the cross, but remaining in a new way at the side of the crucified Lord. I no longer bear the power of office for the governance of the Church, but in the service of prayer I remain, so to speak, in the enclosure of Saint Peter." Pope Benedict XVI (remains Pope)

Cardinal Burke: “Perhaps We Have Arrived At The End Times”

Cardinal Burke:
“Perhaps We Have Arrived At The End Times”

“The Church itself seems to be confused” about the most fundamental teachings of Christ according to Cardinal Raymond Burke. He believes therefore that “perhaps we have arrived at the end times”.

Talking to the Catholic Herald (November 30) he also addressed the question of a formal correction of Amoris Laetitia, “The whole question is still to be determined as to how to go forward.”

Asked about an alleged commission working on an ecumenical Mass, Burke said that he doesn’t know “what the nature of this commission is”, implying that the commission exists, a fact the Vatican has denied.

Which “Traditionalist” Model to Follow? Lefebvre vs Cardinal Burke

Which “Traditionalist” Model to Follow?  Lefebvre vs Cardinal Burke
By:  Eric Gajewski

Was Vatican II ‘heaven sent”?  Should Catholic’s follow along with this new “pastoral program” for the ages?  We have answered these questions extensively here at TradCatKnight and still there are many wondering which model to follow?  Is it Archbishop Lefebvre or the “conservative” cardinal type such as Cardinal Burke?  Who truly holds the counter -revolutionary position?  Over the past few weeks I have been getting even stronger resistance from those who cling to the notion that Cardinal Burke is some type of “savior figure” for the Church but is this so?  His recent comments on the SSPX only exposed him as a false traditionalist but does the Neo-SSPX say this about the “conservatives” as Levebvre once did?  Absolutely not.  We don’t want to offend anyone’s feelings, right?  Is Cardinal Burke seeing this apostasy clearly?  The answer is a resounding no.  Should we have hope of him “seeing the light”?  I shall cover this topic and others in the following article.

Cardinal Burke: Consecration of Russia Was Not Carried Out

Cardinal Burke: Consecration of Russia Was Not Carried Out
Pray for Cardinal Burke who still holds to Vatican II.  Conservatism will not save your soul only Catholicism will and Vatican II is not Catholicism.  The false trads are in abundance these days
“It is evident that the consecration (of Russia) was not carried out in the manner requested by Our Lady,” said Vatican Cardinal Raymond Burke in his keynote address marking the highlight and conclusion of the Fatima Centennial Summit held over the weekend.
“I do not doubt for a moment the intention of Pope John Paul II to carry out the consecration on March 25, 1984,” said Cardinal Burke. He noted that Sister Lucia stated that “Our Lady had accepted it.”

BREAKING: Heretic Cardinal Burke slams FSSPX

BREAKING: Heretic Cardinal Burke slams FSSPX
A few months ago, a kind reader reported that Cardinal Raymond Burke, at the Sacred Liturgy Conference that was held in Medford, OR, in July, had publicly declared that the FSSPX is “in schism” while advising the faithful to neither attend their liturgies nor receive their sacraments.
If true, I understood that this would be important information to share for obvious reasons, but I decided that it was first necessary to obtain irrefutable confirmation as to what was actually said.

WARNING: Cardinal Burke spreads the errors of Russia

WARNING: Cardinal Burke spreads the errors of Russia
In a previous post, I promised to look a bit more closely at Cardinal Burke’s presentation as given in Louisville, KY, on July 22 at the Church Teaches Forum; pointing out whatever good and praiseworthy things he had to say, while also shining the light of truth on those things that are false and dangerous. Bear in mind as we proceed that the theme for the conference was “The Message of Fatima: Peace for the World.”  We’ll return to this at the conclusion to this post.

Cardinal Burke: The Church Is Being Torn Asunder In This Moment

Cardinal Burke: The Church Is Being Torn Asunder In This Moment
Pray for Cardinal Burke to wake up and resist Vatican II he is currently still apart of the problem
The Church is being torn asunder in this moment by confusion and division, Cardinal Raymond Burke told The Wanderer. He wants to avoid the term "schism" and speaks instead of “apostasy”.
According to Burke since the publication of the controversial Amoris Laetitia, the situation in the Church has worsened. The cardinal says that he meets bishops, priests and lay faithful all over the world who are “practically in desperation” and accused by secular liberals of "going against the Pope”.
Burke, one of the four Dubia-Cardinals, also talks about a “formal correction” of Amoris Laetitia saying that such a correction would simply be stating the answers to the Dubia as they are "clearly taught by the Church” in case Pope Francis is not able to set the answers forth clearly.

Apocalypse Now? Cardinal Burke, "It may be so"

Apocalypse Now? Cardinal Burke, "It may be so"
The situation of the Church must be described as “confusion, division and error” and "most troubled", according to Cardinal Raymond Burke. In an address in Kentucky on July 22 he noticed that the Church has “abandoned the clarity” of her teaching.

Burke shared with his audience an experience he had during a conference on the Liturgy, “One young pastor approached me and asked: ‘Cardinal, do you think that we are in the end times? The expression on his face made clear the sincerity of his question and the profound concern which prompted it. I did not hesitate to respond: ‘It may be so.’”

Cardinal Burke: The Hope of Fatima?

Cardinal Burke: The Hope of Fatima?
A controversy has been brewing among Traditional Catholics regarding the address of His Eminence Cardinal Burke at the Roman Life Forum in May of this year. The subject of this address revolved around the continued importance of the Message of Our Lady of Fatima one hundred years after the apparitions in 1917, a reflection that moved the Cardinal to speak of a more explicit consecration of Russia, made by the Pope and bishops in union with him. The reaction to this address within the Traditional world was generally one of gladness. In fact, it was seen as a major breakthrough that could lead to the Pope fulfilling the explicit request of Our Lady that Russia be consecrated to her Immaculate Heart.
