I wanted to take time out to wish you all a very blessed Easter!  Just as He has risen so will the Church arise one day on the other side of the Storm.  God is asking us all to take up our cross and to continue to keep the Faith amidst so many heresies.  I hope that TradCatKnight can continue to help in any way possible in this fight for the Faith.  Please do not hesitate to write me at apostleofmary@hotmail.com.  I hope to see new names coming through my email in the upcoming weeks.  Please enjoy your families and friends but stay focused as to why we get together on this special day.  Death could not hold Him nor can a godless modern world conquer Him.  Love conquers.  Love has the Highest Seat.  We have a lot to be appreciative for this Easter but I just wanted to tell you that I appreciate you all.  I appreciate your efforts and prayers for this apostolate because when you do it is for Jesus himself.  Let us continue on in journey being as charitable as we can without compromising the Faith.  Please keep me in prayer as I will for you, Ave Maria!

On Holy Saturday evening at sundown, a new fire is kindled at the entrance of the church. The priest blesses the new fire, and the deacon carries the triple candle, burning with the new fire, up the aisle of the church to the sanctuary, singing three times: “Lumen Christi” – “The Light of Christ”. The Paschal Candle is lit from the new fire, and the deacon sings the “Exsultet”, a song celebrating the light which symbolizes the Risen Christ, the Light of the world. We share the joy of our Holy Mother Mary, the Apostles and the holy women, who rejoiced at the words of the angel:

Tonight we celebrate the greatest of all feasts, the Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. During the time of Lent and Passiontide we heard no Alleluias. But once again the Church resounds with the cry, “Alleluia! Christ is risen! He is truly risen!” We now put off the penitential robes of Lent and adorn ourselves and our altars with the bright banners and fragrant lilies of Easter. The Church now begins a season of joyful celebration, which is quite unlike the way the world celebrates. The world celebrates sin, but we are not here to please the world, but to please God. Sin leads only to death, but we have already died, and are alive to God, so sin no longer has any power to kill us. St. Paul explains:
