Is Archbishop Georg Gänswein on His Way Out?

On December 7, Archbishop Georg Gänswein finishes his five-year term as the Prefect of the Pontifical Household. Marco Tosatti, referring to a “good source” writes that Gänswein could not be confirmed.
When Francis fired Cardinal Müller, he claimed that he was following a rule according to which he wanted to limit the appointment to Curial positions to five years.
But this turned out to be a ruse as Francis applies this “rule” only to those he perceives as his enemies and wants to eliminate.
