Prayer to the Blessed Virgin Mary
Against Fear, Worry, Doubt & Anxiety

O’ Blessed Queen spread forth thy
Mantle over the head and hearts of thy children. Protect us from the deceits of the
devils. Pour forth God’s grace from the
Sacred Heart through your gentle Immaculate Heart. Where there be fear come forth and expand us
in Faith; where there be worry let thy Son’s peace fill our souls; where there
be anxiety give us the grace to live in the moment and not tomorrow. Let us anticipate nothing other than God and
you being with us at any moment in the future provided we stay in a state of
grace; where there would be doubt let Hope fill our hearts. For the devil seeks to impede our progression
through his wiley tactics but your meek and humble is greater. Through grace help us to descend so that God
may exalt. For without the fertile soil
of humility no other graces can be rightfully sowed and grown. Help us daily to a deeper self knowledge so
that we might see clearly our own nothingness in His sight. Help us to understand how important it is for
us to have a great distrust of ourselves while at the same time clinging to a
greater trust in thy maternal protection and God’s Providential Plan. Finally, watch over us, especially at night,
when the enemy seeks to catch us off guard.
May St. Michael and the angels defend us in this battle for our souls. Help us to follow in the footsteps of your
humility, Amen.
