Staying Positive (Secular Argument)
Vs. Having Faith
By: Eric Gajewski
Tony Robbins or Blessed Virgin Mary?
Over the course of the last 6 months (during my last round of evangelizing to those outside the Faith) I have run into a large number of Nonbelievers who recognize these chastisements are coming. That is the good news and now for the bad. They concede that it is going to get very dark so to speak, however, their answer, in return, is what is very troubling. I will make it through the Great Storm coming by “staying positive” they argue. As if by listening to latest sales pitch of Tony Robbins is going to help these souls. Or by getting into some occultic yoga pose is going to transfer enough “good vibes” to keep them from succumbing into fear, doubt or worry. This is beyond wishful thinking to say the least. Now, it is true, one can argue loosely, that after one has Faith, they now “stay positive” but that is not the context of showing this contrast from the two different points of view presented within. This is what separates us believers from nonbelievers (question of Faith). The question, thus, must be asked, can staying positive help you survive the Storm coming? Or is Faith necessary to make it through the Dark Night approaching? Let us examine.
